In "Artifacts" she is mentioned as the future Police Commissioner of Gotham City, replacing a retired Jim Gordon. However over the course of the show, she begins to have a grudging respect for Batman and eventually becomes his ally. Despite Batman saving her life a few times, she remains antagonistic.
